Stone Mountain Productions, Inc. is pleased to announce that
its educational documentary film "The Battle for Georgia - A
History of the Civil War in Georgia" has been chosen as a 2002
bronze award finalist by the Telly Awards. The Telly Awards
was founded in 1980 to showcase and give recognition to outstanding
non-network and cable TV commercials, film and video productions,
as well as non-network TV programming.
Nearly 11,000 entries were received for the 2002 Telly Awards
competition. Of that number only 7-10% are chosen as winners
and 14-18% are chosen as finalists. Rather than compete against
each other, the entries are judged based on a high standard
of excellence. This year entries were received from all 50 states
as well as Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Malaysia, Denmark
and the Netherlands. |
