Jeff Hodges is a keyboardist, producer, recording engineer, mixer and composer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Classically trained in piano, Jeff majored in music and voice at Winthrop University and has been recording since 1983. After years of "under the radar" work on his own compositions and music projects, Jeff began producing, mixing and engineering with other artists in the 1990's. During this time Jeff also created "Caffeine Trax Studios", a state-of-the-art recording studio. An adept and creative mixer, Jeff utilizes cutting-edge technologies as well as vintage and boutique analogue gear to help transfer the artist's vision into a world-class recording. In addition to his studio work, Jeff has been active in a variety of original music projects, most notably as composer, lead vocalist and front man for the internationally renowed band Man on Fire, for which he plays keyboards and zendrum, and produces all studio recordings. Through his work with Man on Fire, Jeff has had the opportunity to work with and produce artists such as Adrian Belew (King Crimson, David Bowie, Talking Heads), as well as David Ragsdale (Kansas, Smashing Pumpkins, Barbara Mandrell). Jeff is actively involved in his church, serving as the Minister of Music. In this capacity, Jeff is responsible for selecting and/or composing music to be performed, rehearsing the live band, playing keyboards, and leading the congregation in praise and worship on a weekly basis. Jeff is also the co-founder of 10 Tornado Entertainment, a radio promotion and media marketing company for musicians. The success of this venture led to the formation of 10T Records in 2006, which currently boasts a roster of seven artists with 13 collective releases. More...
